Rippling

Once you set up your compliance program, TrustCloud TrustOps works to ensure that your systems remain compliant with your adopted controls. To do so, TrustCloud runs automated tests against systems in your product and business stack and verifies that they are properly configured.

This document outlines the steps you can take to grant TrustCloud access to only read metadata about the configuration settings for your Rippling account so that TrustOps can validate and generate evidence for your compliance program.

1. Log in to your Rippling instance as an Admin for your organization.
2. Click on ‘Company Settings’ and navigate to ‘API Access’.
3. Click on the “Create API Key” button.
4. Provide ‘Read-Only Employee Scope access to your API Key and a meaningful name to the new API Key, e.g., – TrustCloud Integration.
5. Click on the “Save” button and copy the API Key for future reference.
6. Provide the API Key to TrustCloud.
