Set up Certn for automated tests with TrustCloud

Purpose

Once you set up your compliance program, TrustCloud TrustOps works to ensure that your systems remain compliant with your adopted controls. To do so, TrustCloud runs automated tests against systems in your product and business stack, and verifies that they are properly configured.

This document outlines the steps you can take to grant TrustCloud access to only read metadata about the configuration settings for your Certn account, so that TrustOps can validate and generate evidence for your compliance program.

Instructions to grant TrustCloud limited access to Certn

Log in to your Certn instance as a user that is an owner of your Certn instance. Login page: https://app.certn.co/login/.
Navigate to the Team Management page. Team Management page: https://app.certn.co/user/admin/teams/.
On the Team Management page, locate your team and you need to go to the Team Settings page.
On the Team Settings page, go to the API Keys section.
Click Add API Key -> Hover over the generated string -> Click Copy -> Store the key for future reference.
Copy the new API Key & provide it into TrustOps.
