Filter, Search and Sort Controls

The controls table in TrustOps allows you to view controls using different filters, search options, and views.

View Controls

You can view controls in “Compliance,” “Impact,” and “Group” views.

  1. The compliance view provides you with a list of controls, which can be viewed depending on the compliance standard you choose.
    The following screenshot shows the compliance view of controls.

  2. The impact view provides a list of controls that have customer impact. It shows the analytics in the form of a chart with the number of failing controls and the most impacted customers. It also provides you with a detailed list of failed, passed, not run, excluded, planned and all controls.

  3. The group view of controls provides you with a group-wise list of controls.

Filter and Search Controls

You can filter and search controls in TrustOps based on:

TO Controls Fliter Search

  • Control Status Filter: Allows you to filter through Adopted, Planned, and All controls. This filter is available only for compliance views.
  • Standards-based Mapping Filter: If you are pursuing multiple standards, TrustOps allows you to filter the control list by each specific standard. This filter is available only for compliance views.
  • Additional Filters: You can filter the control list by Groups, Owner, Frequency, Maturity Level, Test Status, and Evidence Status. This filter is available on compliance, impact and group views.
  • Search Bar: Allows you to search for a specific control using its control ID or control name. This filter is available on Compliance, Impact and Group views.

Sorting the controls

You can sort control in TrustOps based on:

  • Control ID: You can sort controls alphabetically based on the Control ID.
  • Control Name: You can sort controls alphabetically based on the name of the control.
  • Test Status: Allows you to see if a control is passing, failing, or has not been run. You can sort and view controls based on their test status.
  • Evidence Status: Allows you to see if evidence has been uploaded for a control and if it’s due or outdated. You can sort and view controls based on their evidence status.
  • Next Refresh: You can sort controls based on the date at which the next evidence refresh is required for your controls.
  • Owner: TrustOps allows you to assign each control to a certain owner. You can sort and view controls based on the owner.
  • Group: Each control is mapped to a certain group. Controls can be sorted and viewed based on groups.
